These terms and conditions apply to the “Free qFIT” initiative offered by 40tude and Selph and are in addition to our full terms of service.
This “Free qFIT” programme is a partnership between 40tude and Selph, offering a nationwide cohort the opportunity to access a bowel cancer screening test. In some cases, the qFIT test will be sponsored third-party corporate entities who support 40tude. The test is provided free of charge using a unique voucher for redemption on Selph.co.uk. Selph will supply the qFIT stool test kit and provide the laboratory test result to the participant.
Participation in this programme is only open to individuals selected by 40tude who meet the eligibility criteria as explained during voucher redemption. By redeeming the voucher and receiving the test kit, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
The unique voucher must be redeemed on Selph.co.uk to access the test kit and service at no cost. The voucher is valid for a single use and cannot be transferred, resold, or exchanged for cash. Vouchers are limited to one per eligible person.
qFIT test kits for sample collection are valid for 90 days from the date of delivery and must be sent to the lab within this time frame. If you do not send samples to the laboratory within the Validity Period the test product will expire and you will not be entitled to a replacement.
Selph reserves the right to cancel the Free qFIT initiative without explanation at any time and to cancel any qFIT tests issued under the initiative.
While the test kit and service are provided free of charge by Selph, participants may choose to make a voluntary contribution to 40tude to support the “Free qFIT” initiative.
By participating in this programme, participants agree to be contacted by Selph in the event of a positive Quantitative Faecal Immunochemical Test (qFIT) result. The feedback requested will focus on follow-up actions and outcomes, such as whether the participant consulted a GP, details of subsequent steps taken, and the outcomes of any secondary investigations. This is an opportunity to provide qualitative feedback that will enhance 40tude’s initiative and contribute to earlier detection of bowel cancer in the broader population. Providing this feedback is a condition of participation in the programme.
Selph will process participants' data in accordance with its privacy policy. Data collected as part of this programme will be anonymised and aggregated for research and reporting purposes, unless explicitly agreed otherwise. With user's permission, data may be shared in aggregated and anonymised format with 40tude and an associated third-party corporate entity where they have sponsored the testing. Selph, 40tude and any associated third-arty corporate entity are not liable for any medical outcomes following the qFIT test or participants’ actions or inactions based on the test results. The qFIT test result and report are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute a diagnosis or medical advice. Participants are advised to consult their GP for interpretation and further guidance.
The voucher is non-transferable and must be redeemed within the expiry date (7 days unless otherwise stated) indicated upon receipt (by email). Unredeemed vouchers will not be replaced or extended.
Selph and 40tude reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via Selph.co.uk or through direct communication with participants. Continued participation in the programme constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

By participating in this programme, participants acknowledge and agree that the transaction, including the use of the test kit and any associated services, is subject to Selph’s standard Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these terms and Selph’s Terms of Service, these programme-specific terms will take precedence.
